Carroll ISD elementary schools have scheduled kindergarten registration events in an effort to pre-register the Class of 2021. School officials mailed a postcard to all residential and commercial taxpayers in an effort to communicate kindergarten registration procedures. This postcard features Durham Elementary School kindergarten teacher Tiffany Delbridge. The postcard was sponsored and paid for by CISD corporate partner, Roxann Taylor & Associates Realtors.

Students who turn five years old on or before September 1, 2008 are eligible to register. Some campuses are offering single registration dates and parents can register their kindergarten students anytime on or after that event. Others ask for parents to register their kindergartner during regular business hours and have planned a student orientation for later in the month.

To register your child for kindergarten, you'll need a copy of the child's Social Security number, up-to-date immunization records, birth certificate and two proofs of residency. A driver's license does not constitute proof of residence; rather parents are asked to submit a recent electric AND water bill.
