The mission of the School Health Advisory Council (SHAC) is to provide an environment that promotes standards of healthy lifestyle choices among students through comprehensive health education that will enhance the emotional and physical well being in our community.


The CISD Health Advisory Council will provide guidance in the development of health and physical education programs, which encourages responsible, healthy standards of life. The Committee will support the provision of age-appropriate curricula, which promote, protect, and maintain the physical, mental, and emotional health of all students.
