Welcome to another great year at Carroll Senior High School! The fall
semester is here and we anticipate another outstanding year from our
students and staff at CSH. CSH is the largest high school in Texas
to be rated Exemplary by the Texas Education Agency. We are very excited
to continue to build on the success of past years, as we raise the
bar for all of our programs once again. As we begin the 2007-2008 Academic
Year, we look forward to strong leadership from an outstanding senior
class. The Class of 2008 has the potential to be the best Carroll class
ever. This decorated group of seniors has fostered success in both
academic and extracurricular areas. We look forward to watching them
achieve even more as they move toward graduation.
We begin the fall with state ranked teams in cross-country,
football, volleyball, and tennis. We have also achieved national
rankings in
forensics, cross country, and football. We look forward to the November
production of “The Phantom of the Opera” by the Carroll
Theater Department. In June, Carroll was selected to be one of four
high schools, and two colleges, in the nation to be the first to perform
this outstanding musical. The November production will mark the first
time that “The Phantom of the Opera” has ever been performed
by an amateur group. In October, teacher representatives from CSH will
travel to Austin to be recognized as a TBEC Honor Roll School. At Carroll
Senior High, the best just keep getting better!
We encourage the entire Carroll Learning Community to get involved
in our success. We have many volunteer opportunities and opportunities
for community participation. In Carroll, our entire community works
together to create a feeling for our students that anything is possible
for them every day. We want all of our students to dream and achieve!
Best wishes on another great year!
