Emerald Belle Order Form

Facts about the Emerald Belles

The team consists of 74 members for the 2007-2008 school year. There are ten Line Officers.
The Belles perform at all of the CSHS football games, pep rallies, numerous community events, basketball games, competitions, camp, and while on team trips that take place every other year.
The Belles have been feature performers at Disney World in Orlando, Fiesta Texas in San Antonio, Carnival Cruise Lines, and Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines.
The Belles participate in numerous fundraisers to help raise money for their competition trips, costuming, Emerald Belle Banquet, etc.

*Every member is required to follow strict rules and regulations that are outlined in the Emerald Belle Constitution.

2007-2008 Emerald Belle Practice/Class Schedule

Emerald Belles will have practice and class everyday. The scheduled Emerald Belles class is 1st and 5th block.

6:45 AM - 8:40 AM - Practice
8:40 - 9:10 AM - Study Hall
9:10 - 9:30 AM - Get ready for school
During football season the Belles practice with the band on Thursdays at 3:50 PM.

Junior Varsity Emerald Belles

The JV team consists of 29 members including five Line Officers and three Social Officers. Practices and performances are at Carroll High School and sub-varsity events. The JV Belles perform at Thursday night games. The JV Belles also perform at community events, CHS pep rallies, and two competitions. No fundraising is done at the Junior Varsity level. More information on the Carroll High School web site is available. The Junior Varsity director is Christie Kamermon at Carroll High School.

2008 Emerald Belle Tryouts

Mandatory meeting for Emerald Belle tryouts will be held in the Carroll Senior High School cafeteria on Thursday, March 6th at 7 PM. A parent or candidate must attend the meeting. All information about tryouts will be distributed at the meeting.

Mandatory Tryout Clinic: March 25 - 27 (4:15 - 6:15 PM)
Tryouts: March 28 ( 4:15 PM)

Competitions Dates

February 16: Marching Auxiliaries Competition at Grapevine High School in Grapevine, Texas
February 29 - March 2: ShowMakers Competition at Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas

2008 Officer Camp: June 8 - 11 in Houston, Texas
2008 Team Camp: June 15 - 17 at Doral Tesoro Hotel in Fort Worth, Texas

Emerald Belle Parent Booster Club

*The parent meeting is the first Tuesday of every month at 7:00 PM in the CSHS library.

*Parents are encouraged to attend the meetings. The Booster Club helps with all the fundraisers that will directly benefit the Emerald Belles. They also help with committees such as Belle Holiday Tea, Parent Pot Luck dinner, competitions, Belle Banquet, etc.
