Gale Group Databases
Gale provides several databases suitable for high school level research. A wealth of information can be found in these databases including full-text newspaper and periodical articles (both popular and scholarly), biographies, literature criticisms, book reviews, graphics, video and audio clips. Each database is described fully at the site.

To access the Gale Group Databases from home or school:

Enter Carroll Senior HS and choose access method (Campus or Home), then click the High School button. A list of databases available will be displayed. Click on the database you wish to use.

Facts on File
Facts on File offers 12 databases on science, history, and career guidance. For research purposes, the databases contain articles digitized from books, images, primary source documents, biographies, timelines, maps and charts. For your personal use, the databases offer business and personal forms, and college and financial aid applications.

EBSCOhost
Provides access to many databases on varied topics, including health, law, literature, and history. Find magazine, journal, newspaper and reference articles using this resource. An online encyclopedia is also available through EBSCO.
