The following scholarships can be found in the Scholarship Opportunities
File Cabinet in the College and Career Center of the Guidance Department
#002 University of Dayton Merit Scholarships. Offer four categories of scholarships ranging from $20,000 to.$100,000 over 4 years. Criteria ranges from B average and 21 ACT/1,000 SAT to A average and ACT 31/SAT 1410.
#008 Indiana University Scholarships. Scholarships vary from $8,000 to $32,000. Students who have submitted a complete application for admission by November 1 priority date will have priority consideration for merit scholarships.
Deadline: Final school application date.
#014 The American Legion. Multiple scholarships are offered for various amounts. See website for more information. www.needalift.org.
#034 The National Security Agency (NSA) Stokes Educational Scholarship Program. Receive full tuition and mandatory fees for the college of your choice, reimbursement for textbooks and summer employment at NSA with a year-round salary
Applications accepted between Sept. 1 and Nov. 30 each year.
#038 Hendrix College Scholarship Program. Students can receive scholarships and awards of up to $5,000 per year for four years.

#039 Nelnet Scholarships. 20 scholarships of up to $25,000 and 750 $1,000 scholarships. Winners are randomly selected. Enter as often as you like. To ender fill out the form at www.nelnet.com/win.
#040 Drury University Scholarships. Various scholarships ranging from $500.00 to full tuition. See the scholarship drawer in the Guidance Office for more information

#043 The Art Institute Culinary Arts Scholarship. Full tuition at the Art Institute to the winner of the “Best Teen Chef” competition. Apply online at www.artinstitutes.edu/btc
#054 Carroll ISD School Nurse Scholarship. $500 scholarship to a graduating senior of Carroll Senior High School. The scholarship is based upon a student’s intent to enter the nursing profession or is pursuing a career in a medical field.

#076 Altrusa DFW Community Service Scholarship. A $1,000 scholarship awarded to a CSHS senior based on community service.

#077 Overcoming Adversity Scholarship. A $1,000 scholarship awarded to a CSHS student who has overcome some personal obstacle or has addressed a particular challenge in a positive way.

#078 Frances D. Waldman CSHS ASTRA Scholarship. A $1,000 scholarship awarded to a CSHS senior who has been a member of the CSHS ASTRA club for at least one school year.

#081 Alexander Hamilton Citizenship Achievement Award. This program is for JUNIORS.
$500.00 Cash Scholarship plus an all-expense week of leadership training in Seattle.

#087 The Carroll Education Foundation. Several $1,500 scholarships will be awarded to Carroll Senior High students based on academic record, SAT/ACT scores, involvement in school and community, character and leadership ability and community service hours.

#098 William T. Meyers Scholarship. A $2,000 scholarship for a CSHS senior will be awarded to a student demonstrating high moral character and who will have completed 4 years of high school science.

#100 Johnson Elementary Koalaty Graduate Award. Scholarship criteria: a minimum of two years at JES, a minimum GPA of 85.0, Definite plans to attend in institute of higher learning.

#101 Metroplex Republican Women. Estelle Teague Scholarship. Two $500.00 scholarships for deserving female high school seniors

#103 Tarrant County Democratic Woman’s Club, Margaret Carter Scholarships.
Two $1,000 scholarships for women who live in Tarrant County. Schola4ships may be applied to study in the fields of government, political science, or related public service.
