Accountability: 

State

The Texas Education Agency has developed the Academic Excellence Indicator System (AEIS) which pulls together a wide range of information on the performance of students in each school and district, to include Carroll ISD in Texas every year. These reports also provide extensive information on staff, finances, programs, and demographics for each school and district.   Historically, Carroll students have out-performed other students when comparing their results on the AEIS system with those of other students state-wide and of students in other 5A school districts in Texas.

Federal

Due to the requirements of the federal No Child Left Behind act, the Texas Education Agency also evaluates all public school campuses, districts, and the state for Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP).
