Football Season Ticket Information
Dragon Track Teams Win District
The boys' and girls' track teams earned the District 5-5A
track and field championship April 15 and will advance to the
Regional
competition April 25-26 in Lubbock.
Lady Dragon Soccer Team Clenches
5A State Title
Congratulations to the Lady Dragon soccer team
on their 5A State Championship win. The girls defeated
San Antonio MacArthur and Plano East in the State Tournament
to earn the 2008 championship title.

UIL Steroid Testing
Program
The Texas Legislature recently mandated statewide drug testing
with Senate Bill 8. This random drug testing program affects
all student-athletes in grades 9-12.
Although Carroll ISD has not yet
been selected for testing, an estimated 40,000 to
50,000 Texas athletes will be tested by the end of the 2008-2009
school year.

The combined achievements of Dragon athletic, fine arts and academic
teams during the 2003-2004 school year earned Carroll a second
place tie for the University Interscholastic League Class 5A Lone
Star
Cup. This coveted award is presented to the Texas school which earns the
most points in academic, fine arts and athletic UIL competitions. CISD earned a second place finish in 2002-2003, which was the district's first year in the 5A classification.
4A Lone Star Cup
Congratulations to Carroll High School, winner of the University
Interscholastic League Class 4A Lone Star Cup for two consecutive
years, 2000-2001 and 2001-2002.
