Prudential Spirit of Community Awards –

Students who demonstrate exemplary community service can complete an application on line to be considered for this award. www/nassp.org/spirit  by November 1, 2011. Once completed, application must be submitted to the school principal. More information is available in the counseling office.



Bobby Bragon Youth Foundation Scholarship Program

CMS 8th graders have the opportunity to apply for a $2500 college scholarship by completing an application which includes the following: academic achievements, extracurricular and athletic activities, and community involvement. Each student is also required to write an essay on his or her favorite role model. CMS will select two applications for consideration to the Bobby Bragon Youth Foundation. Applications can be picked up in the counseling office. Deadline to apply is November 15.
 


 "The Top Ten Things Parents and Teachers Should Know about Gifted Kids"

 SAGT (Southlake Association for Gifted and Talented) is sponsoring a lecture by Dr. James Webb, nationally known author and speaker on gifted education, on "The Top Ten Things Parents and Teachers Should Know about Gifted Kids" at 6:30 pm on Nov. 16 at CSHS auditorium.

 

Carroll Middle School SPIRIT Shop

Carroll Middle School's SPIRIT Shop is open on Wednesday's and Friday's from 11:15 - 1:30. 

Extended Day

Extended day is available after school on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 3:50 - 4:50 in the library.
