Calculator Info for 2008-09
All students should have a TI-83 or TI-84 graphing calculator for their math class this year.  If purchasing a new calculator, please consider purchasing the TI-84 Plus or TI-84 Plus Silver Edition and please save the proof of purchase to give to your math teacher at the beginning of the year as the department can use those proofs of purchase to order extra items from TI.

Please make sure to label your calculator (not the lid) with your name, clearly written in permanent marker.  This calculator can be used in all math and science classes in grades 9 - 12 as well as on the TAKS, PSAT, SAT, and ACT.  Used calculators can often be found online; some online resources include: Ebay, http://www.usedcalculators.com , or http://www.calculatorexchange.com
