I am a police officer for the City of Southlake. I have been a police officer since 1993 and have worked on patrol, criminal investigations and currently am assigned as the School Resource Officer at Carroll High School.
My duties at Carroll High School are wide ranging but include the safety and protection of the student's and faculty. I handle criminal matters that arise at Carroll High School as well as schools at the middle, intermediate and elementary level. School Resource Officers will occasionally be asked to speak in a classroom setting regarding topics such as law, drugs, alcohol, traffic safety and many other areas of the officer's knowledge.
School Resource Officers work to build relationships between themselves and their respective school administrators to maintain a safe school environment for all of our students in CISD.
