Welcome to the Carroll Independent School District Instructional Services Department website. Guided by the district’s core values, vision and mission statements, the Department of Instructional Services works to align all facets of district operations to address students’ educational needs.

Our mission is to maintain effective partnerships with our campuses, parents, and the community so that all students may achieve to their greatest possible potential. We accomplish this mission by:

    •    Developing relationships and creating alliances that ensure student success
    •    Aligning all programmatic decisions with the district’s instructional focus
    •    Ensuring consistency, efficiency, and effectiveness of curriculum products, services and programs
    •    Providing documents to clarify state and local curriculum
    •    Identifying best teaching practices and providing purposeful professional development opportunities
    •    Building and supporting the capacity in people to contribute and lead
    •    Acquiring, allocating, and aligning resources with the district’s instructional focus
    •    Collecting, interpreting, and using data to monitor results
    •    Supervising, evaluating, and holding individuals accountable for the district’s instructional initiatives
