Each year, the Texas Education Agency prepares a School Report Card for each campus in our district. This is a report required by the Texas Legislature and is sent to the parent or guardian of every child enrolled in that particular school. The report provides information concerning student performance as well as information about expenditures and student/teacher ratios. The information contained in the report is required by state law is also a part of the Academic Excellence Indicator System (AEIS) . Your child's school may or may not have all the information described because some of the details are exclusive to middle or high school levels.
The Texas Education Agency recently released 2007-2008 AEIS Reports by District and by Campus. Individual School Report Cards for the 2007-2008 school year have also been released. Keep in mind that some of the data included in the 2007-2008 reports is from previous years (i.e. 2006-2007 data is used for attendance reporting).
Questions about the 2007-2008 AEIS Reports may be directed to our Instructional Services Office at 817-949-7070.

District Report Card Posted
In February, 2009, Carroll ISD received a letter from the Texas Education Agency (TEA) requiring that a “No Child Left Behind Report Card” be disseminated to parents and the community. The No Child Left Behind Act (NCLB) requires each school district that receives certain federal Title I funds to disseminate specific district and campus level data no later than March 30, 2009. More specific information regarding the data requirements may be found in the letter, posted on the TEA web site, at http://ritter.tea.state.tx.us/taa/specprog021709.html.
Data that must be disseminated include:
- Assessment results showing two-year (2006-2007 and 2007-2008) trend data for each subject and grade tested.
- Graduation rates for secondary school students.
- Performance of the school district and each campus on adequate yearly progress (AYP) measures.
- Professional qualifications of teachers in the district and each campus, including the percentage of teachers teaching with emergency or provisional credentials and the percentage of classes in the district and on each campus that are not taught by highly qualified teachers.
