Disclosure Statement

Mrs. Shoupp was first elected to the Board of Education in May 2003. She was re-elected to three-year terms by CISD voters in 2006 and in 2009. She serves as an ex-officio member of the Carroll Education Foundation, and is past Chairman of the Southlake Carroll Robin Hood Coalition. She also represents the Board at the Southlake Executive Forum meetings and is currently serves on the Bond Advisory Committee and School Health Advisory Council.

Mrs. Shoupp holds a Bachelor of Arts from Wesleyan University and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin. Her work experience includes corporate strategy and development for Ameritech Development Corporation and mergers and acquisitions for Prudential-Bache Capital Funding. Mrs. Shoupp actively volunteers in the district and in the community, and has served in the past as the Parent-Teacher Organization President for Durham Elementary School and for Chapel Hill Children's School.

Her past committee work includes chairman of the Academic cocurricular Enhancement Committee, the CISD Technology Committee, the Carroll ISD/City of Southlake Drug and Alcohol Committee, the Joint Use Committee, and the district's Recruitment, Retention, and Reward initiative. She and her husband, Doug, have four children.

Mrs. Shoupp's term ends in May 2012.
