Remember, all proceeds go straight to the classroom and help fund

HERE IS HOW YOU AND YOUR STUDENT CAN HELP:
RENEW a magazine subscription that you already receive, order a new
magazine or purchase one as a gift. Fill out paperwork your student
brought home and pay later or go online to http://www.qsp.com/. Make
sure to enter DAWSON as your school and your child's name when you
checkout. Have your child bring in the confirmation e-mail on
Wednesday, October 7th.

INJURED
MARINE SEMPER FI FUND
PURCHASE MARINE BUTTONS AND
MUMS! A NEW TRADITION!
This year, the
Dragon football team's annual philanthropy project will benefit the
Injured Marine Semper Fi Fund. Throughout September and October the
fundraising activities will include events honoring America's
military. Sales of charity mums and buttons for the homecoming
game will go directly to the Semper Fi Fund.
The
Injured Marine Semper Fi Fund was established in 2004 and assists
Marines, sailors and service members who were injured while assigned
to Marine forces and their families during their difficult road to
recovery. The fund has provided over 15,000 grants totaling over $31
million in assistance to America's Operation Enduring Freedom and
Operation Iraqi Freedom wounded heroes and families.
Be
sure to purchase your Marine Semper Fi button and mums and help
this worthwile charity. Buttons and mums are available
at the DMS Dragons' Closet.

CHS Cheerleaders are selling
09' Homecoming Tshirts! T-Shirts are $10 and they are available
in children and adult sizes. You can choose from bright pink,
green, or purple shirt colors (with black lettering). They will
be for sale during lunches at the middle schools and high schools
during the week of Homecoming (Oct 5-9).
