DRAGON BASH 2009 - TONIGHT!!!
It's the first annual celebration of students, faculty, and family and
you DON'T want to miss it!
Where: DMS
Football Field
When: FRIDAY
4:00-7:00 p.m.
Who: DMS
students, parents, siblings, faculty
WHY? To
listen to awesome music, hang out with your friends, play on the giant
inflatables- including a velcro wall and Twister, get a temporary
airbrush tattoo, eat SNO CONES & COTTON CANDY- and of course, have
an awesome Outback Steakhouse burger!
Cost: Admission
Tickets are: $5 for K-4th grades $10 for 5th-12th grade
Dinner: (hamburger,
drink, cookie) Tickets are: $5 in advance and $8 at the door.
Coupons will be sold for $1 each
for sno cones, cotton candy, popcorn, candy, and tattoos.

1. RENEW a magazine subscription
that you already receive, order a new magazine or purchase one as a
gift. Fill out paperwork your student brought home and pay later or go
online to http://www.qsp.com/. Make sure to enter DAWSON as your school
and your child's name when you check-out. Have your child bring in the
confirmation email on turn in days during lunch to receive prizes.
Student Rewards for orders turned in:
1 order... get out of class for Wii Sports Competition
3 orders...participate in Wii Sports Competition and eligible to win
cash for top two winners

INJURED
MARINE SEMPER FI FUND
PURCHASE MARINE BUTTONS AND
MUMS! A NEW TRADITION!
This year, the
Dragon football team's annual philanthropy project will benefit the
Injured Marine Semper Fi Fund. Throughout September and October the
fundraising activities will include events honoring America's
military. Sales of charity mums and buttons for the homecoming
game will go directly to the Semper Fi Fund.
The
Injured Marine Semper Fi Fund was established in 2004 and assists
Marines, sailors and service members who were injured while assigned
to Marine forces and their families during their difficult road to
recovery. The fund has provided over 15,000 grants totaling over $31
million in assistance to America's Operation Enduring Freedom and
Operation Iraqi Freedom wounded heroes and families.
Be
sure to purchase your Marine Semper Fi button and mums and help
this worthwile charity. Buttons and mums are available
at the DMS Dragons' Closet.
