Durham Intermediate Encore Classes

Durham Intermediate School offer a wide variety of encore classes to our students.  The following summarizes the encore choices for our 5th and 6th graders.

5th Grade

5th graders participate in: Art, Music, PE, Computer Lab, and Science Lab.

Students participating in QUEST (Gifted and Talented) will take this class in lieu of Study Skills and Computer Lab.

6th Grade

6th graders participate in PE, Computer Lab, and Study Skills.

Students choose one of the following: Band, Choir, or Music.

Students in choir or music also participate in Science Lab once a week.

Students participating in QUEST (Gifted and Talented) will take this class in lieu of Study Skills and Computer Lab.
