Durham Intermediate offers science lab as an opportunity for children to experience science hands on. We follow the science curriculum to help reinforce what they are learning in class. It is a good chance for students to make the connection from reading material to seeing and experiencing science visually.   Each week we see 5th grade students two times and 6th grade students one time. (In addition, students will visit the science lab as part of their normal science class.)  We cover, with a variety of experiments, earth, physical, and life science through out the course of the year for both grade levels.
