Durham Intermediate offers science lab as an opportunity for children to experience science hands on. We follow the science curriculum to help reinforce what they are learning in the classroom.   Each week we see 5th grade students three times and 6th grade students two times.  We cover, with a variety of experiments, earth, physical, environmental and life science through out the course of the year for both grade levels. The students will receive grades each six weeks from the lab activities and they will be averaged with the classroom grades. We want your children to have a passion and long lasting love for science for years to come.
