Ambassadors of Kindness Club
Sponsor: Miss Blazek  and Mrs. Aldridge

EIS Ambassadors are student leaders who are known for "being there" for their fellow peers by displaying kindness and compassion. The role of a ambassador is to serve as a "buddy" to any new students in their advisory class, provide tours of our campus to special guests, and help sponsor the 4th grade orientation in the spring. Each advisory class will have two student Ambassadors. Students in this club are required to attend a monthly meeting. All applications are due to Miss Blazek in the office by September 16th.

Art Club
Sponsor:  Mrs. Amick

The Ceiling Tile club will meet February 6,7,8 from 3:45 - 5:00 pm in the Art room. The Mural Club will meet  November 1,2,3  from 3:45 - 5:00 pm in the Art room.  There is a limit of 25 participants.  Applications should be brought to Mrs. Amick in the Art room.

Book Lovers
Sponsor: Mrs.Drenka and Ms. Lavenda

Meetings: Two Thursday mornings per month beginning Oct. 6th. 
Book lovers will meet to discuss their favorite books.  Different genres of reading will be discussed at each meeting.  Students will not be required to read the same book. Our first meeting will be held on Thursday, Oct. 6th from 8-8:30 a.m. in the library.

Chess
Sponsors:   Mrs. Price

Regular meetings will be Friday mornings beginning at 7:45 in room D202.  Mrs. Price will meet you att he front stairs to take you to her room.   All skill levels are welcome, but participants must understand piece movement and the rules of the game. Everyone is sure to improve as they learn from each other and gain experience.

Culinary Club
Sponsors:  Mrs. Persson, Mrs. Curry, Mrs. Allison

An information meeting for those interested will be held on Sept. 15 at 4:00 in room C100.  Application information will be given out at that time.


Math Olympiad
Sponsor:  Mrs. Arnold
 
Math Olympiad will meet each Monday morning in room F201 starting September 26  until March 26th.   8:05 - 8:30.

Mural Club
Sponsor:  Mrs. Amick

Meetings:  November 1,2,3  from 3:45 - 5:00 pm in the Art room.  There is a limit of 25 participants.  Applications should be brought to Mrs. Amick in the Art room.
 

Puppet Club
Sponsor:  Mrs. VonDreau, Mrs. Amick

Our puppet club students build their own mouth and rod puppets.
In the spring we put on a silly and wonderful musical show!  This club includes sewing and constructing a puppet and singing and performing with the finished puppet.

Fall Meetings - puppet construction in the art room
During the first semester, we will meet every Tuesday afternoon from 3:45 until 5:00.  We will begin on September 20 in the art room. Beginning October 25th, we will meet in the music room.

Spring Meetings - meetings will be based on scheduled performances. 
Meetings will be held on Tuesday, but we will not need to meet each week.

This club is filled on a first come first serve basis and will close at 30 students.  Applications should be given to Mrs. Von Dreau in the choir room.

Running Club
Sponsor:  Mrs. Bullock

This is a Club for students who are interested in distance Running.  There is no limit to the number of students who can participate. We look forward to seeing you at Running Club on Thursdays!
 
Meetings:  Thursdays, 3:45-4:30 (we ask that parents pick students up promptly at 4:30 at the back of the school) Each meeting will begin in the gym.
First Meeting:  October 13
Final Meeting:  March 8

Spanish Club

The Spanish club will meet every other Friday from 8:00 - 8:30 AM starting September 23 in room C104.  Bring applications to Mrs. DeVincenzo in room C104.

Student Council
Sponsors:  Mrs. Bonnette,  Mrs. Gilbert

There will be an information meeting for 5th graders interested in running for their homeroom representatives on Thursday, September 8th and 6th grade on Friday, September 9th. Regular meetings will be held on Monday mornings at 8:00 am and we also meet afters chool at various times throughout the year. We are dedicated to serving Eubanks Intermediate with school spirit, fund-raisers, and creating a sense of community.

Speeches will be held on Thursday, September 15th in the homerooms. 

Information on applications will be given at the information meetings noted above.
 

Tennis Club
Sponsors:  Mrs. Dennis, Mrs. Shuman, Mrs. Michaud,  Mrs. Anderson, Miss Wong,

Sixth Grade ONLY… Limited to 20 students This club is now full and registration is closed.
Meetings: Fridays, September 30-December 9, 7:45-8:20. Meet at DMS tennis courts.
We will enjoy time to play tennis together and learn some of the rules of the game.

Applications should be given to Mrs. Dennis in room F206.


Yearbook Club

Sponsor:  Mrs. Reinhart

Meetings: After school on Tuesdays in the computer lab (D203). We will start on September 27th and finish by March 6th. (Members may need to take photos of other clubs on different days if assigned to cover that club.)

There will be a limit of 25 students.  Applications should be given to Mrs. Reinhart in her classroom (portable).
