    CISD REAL ESTATE OFFERINGS

The Board has discussed real property during its meetings throughout this fiscal year. The primary reasons for these discussions have been to monetize underutilized properties and reduce District costs.  In August 2023, the Board adopted amended Public-Private Partnership Guidelines in accordance with Texas Government Code Chapter 2267. A public-private partnership is a contract between a governmental entity (such as Carroll ISD) and a private entity for delivering services or facilities in a cost-effective manner. Such a partnership can be more efficient than traditional sources of procurement and public financing. These partnerships offer the opportunity for the District to establish revenue sources that could provide long term benefits to the District. The District is seeking proposals for public-private partnerships as well as bids to purchase or exchange these underutilized properties. The link to the solicitation package with additional details, including how to submit a proposal or bid, MAY BE FOUND HERE. Please register to access bid documents.
