Welcome to Carroll ISD, where everyone's a Dragon!
Carroll ISD is a K-12 public school system located in the heart of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. The 21-square-mile district consists of 11 schools serving more than 8,400 students and 1,100 employees. As one of the top school districts in Texas, CISD recently received "A" ratings by the Texas Education Agency at all 11 campuses, and also earned the prestigious Lonestar Cup for the 8th time, winning the most points in 6A history! Carroll Independent School District is celebrating a remarkable achievement as the Carroll ISD Jazz Orchestra has been named a Finalist Band for the esteemed Essentially Ellington High School Jazz Band Competition and Festival. This honor places the orchestra among the most elite high school jazz bands in North America, marking the seventh time the group has earned this distinction.
