  • Class of 2021 Project Graduation Tickets
    Project Graduation will be held at PINSTACK (Las Colinas) this year on May 28 from 11pm-5am. This event is a drug and alcohol-free event and designed to provide a safe celebration for our graduating seniors. Ticket price includes food, drinks, activities and games, and raffle tickets for chances to win awesome prizes including TVs, AirPods, other popular electronics, and cash!   • Get a Grad Message for your Graduating Senior
    The Carroll ISD Marketing Department is offering the opportunity to purchase a personalized, 7-second message with photos for graduates to appear on the video board at Graduation. The cost per message is $50 with proceeds benefitting Carroll IDS’s General Fund. The sale runs through Sunday, May 16. Click here for more information.

  • Carroll Night at the Ballpark
    Carroll ISD is excited to announce the return of Carroll Night at the Ballpark on Friday, April 30, at the brand new Globe Life Field. The Texas Rangers will take on the Boston Red Sox in the new ballpark, and the Dragon community is invited to be a part of it! Click here to get your tickets.

  • District Launches Remote Learning Survey
    As part of the district’s ongoing review of remote learning and the Dragon Virtual Academy during the 2020-2021 school year, Carroll ISD has partnered with a third-party survey company, K12 Insight, to conduct a survey of parents, instructional staff, and students in grades 7-12. The Survey will launch Wednesday, April 7

  • CISD Trustees Approve Mask Changes for Outdoor Activities
    During the April 5 Board Meeting, the CISD School Board heard the results of the Parent Mask Survey and received new recommendations from the COVID-19 Response Team.
    Those serving on the COVID-19 Response Team include the Superintendent, Superintendent’s Cabinet, principals, and all central office executive directors, directors, lead nurse and instructional coordinators. Teachers and other support staff have been included in an instructional task force that has assisted the COVID-19 Response team.

  • Carroll Bands “Superior” at UIL Concert and Sight Reading Assessment
    Congratulations to all three Carroll concert bands who received Superior ratings at last week’s UIL virtual Concert and Sight Reading assessment. We are very proud of our students, who performed amazingly well despite limited time rehearsing together and in socially distanced settings. Go Dragons!

  • Spring State Assessment Information for CSHS and CHS

    Several state and national assessments will not be available remotely this spring. This includes STAAR, STAAR EOC, STAAR Alternate 2, TELPAS, SAT School Day and ASVAB. Remote students who are participating in any of these assessments will be required to come to campus to participate in testing. Click here to read more and see the testing schedule.

  • CSH Students: Apply Now for PALS (Peer Assistace Leadership) 2021-2022

    PALs is a mentoring program that interacts with all schools within Carroll ISD.
    PALs will collaborate with students enrolled in pre-kindergarten up to the Senior High
    School. These include having a class assigned to you, friends at lunch, at risk students,
    special needs, general students, or one on one interactions.

  • AP Art History Course Selection Open Now!

    Engage global art in this year-long elective designed to introduce you to artistic traditions you’ll appreciate for the rest of your life! All current 9th, 10th and, 11th-grade students are encouraged to visit the website below to see if this elective is a good fit for next year’s schedules. There is no prerequisite to the course, and no application process – all students are welcome! Mr. Johnston will be visiting Pre-AP/GT English classes on February 2 and 3 to present the course in more detail, and to answer student questions. After reviewing the class website, if you have additional questions, please feel free to email
