  • Carroll Robotics Hosting VEX Robotics Tower Takeover Competition January 25!
    Carroll Robotics will be hosting their second VEX Robotics Tower Takeover competition of the season on Saturday, January 25 in the Student Activity Center at Carroll Senior High School. More than 40 teams from North Texas will be competing at this fast paced event. Winners will join the six Carroll teams already qualified for the State Championship in February. Qualification matches will run from 9 a.m.- 3 p.m. with Finals and Awards from 3:30 p.m.-4:30 p.m. Come support Carroll Robotics at this exciting tournament!

  • Special Programs College, Career and Transition Fair - February 6!
    CISD Special Programs hosting the College, Career and Transition Fair February 6, 2020, at Carroll Senior High School from 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm. Several Colleges, vocational school and special programs will be present. The event will include Guest Speaker Ron Venable, MA Assistant Directory of the Office of Student Accessibility UT Dallas. This fair will help high school students with learning differences gain knowledge about college, applications process, career opportunities, Department of Disability Services, and transition needs when pursuing post-secondary education or training. For more information click here or contact Juliana Jenkins - juliana.jenkins@southlakecarroll.edu, 817-949-5862.   • CISD Offers SAT/ACT Test Prep Course!
    Carroll ISD will be offering juniors the opportunity to take an SAT or ACT test prep course during the school day. The sessions will begin in early February and will go through March. The testing dates have been adjusted to better accommodate the needs of our students.  The course will be offered at CSHS from 1:51-3:21 by the More Than A Teacher Test Prep Company.  The cost is $159.  Click here to register.  Registration will not be complete until payment is received.

  • Save the Date - Class of 2020 Interfaith Baccalaureate - May 24th at 4PM!
    Senior 2020 Parents... please mark your calendars for the 2020 Baccalaureate service, which will be held on Sunday, May 24, at 4:00 pm at White's Chapel United Methodist Church. Baccalaureate is an interfaith service to honor all CSHS graduating seniors and their families. The service will include words of inspiration, music, and common prayer, presented by Carroll senior students of many faiths.  Attendance is optional.  More information will go out to Senior Parents and Students later this month.

  • Twenty-One Dragon Cross Country Runners Named Academic All-State!
    The Texas Army National Guard and the Texas High School Coaches Association announced their Academic All-State Teams for cross country recently. Twenty-one Dragon student-athletes made the list. Click here to see who is on the list.

  • Twenty Nine Dragons Sign Letters of Intent!
    Carroll Senior High School and the Carroll Athletic Department hosted an event on Wednesday morning to recognize an outstanding group of student-athletes who signed their National Letter of Intent to study and play at the collegiate level after graduation.In total, twenty-nine athletes from sports ranging from soccer to beach volleyball signed to play college athletics.   • Dragons Sweep UIL Cross Country State Championships!
    The Boys and Girls Carroll Cross Country teams both competed in the UIL State Meet this past weekend. This was the eighth state championship for the girls and fifth for the boys. Congratulations Dragons! Read more here!
