  •  JoPrincipal Jon Fike n Fike, Principal

    My name is Jon Fike, and this is my 23rd  year in education including 15 years in administration. I joined the Carroll ISD staff 14 years ago as the district curriculum coordinator for K-6 math, science, social studies, and instructional technology. This will be my eleventh year at Old Union Elementary and tenth year as the Principal. My teaching experiences have ranged from high school to elementary, special education to general education in Highland Park ISD, Plano ISD, Coppell ISD, and Carroll ISD.

    I have earned two graduate degrees from the University of North Texas and the University of Arkansas. In addition, I earned my Bachelors of Science Degree in Special Education from the University of Arkansas. Woo Pig Sooiee!

    I have an amazing wife, Allison. She serves as the ESL/Pre School Coordinator in Carroll ISD. We have three children – two sons, Manning and Camden and a daughter, Sophie.

    Old Union Elementary has a talented staff and wonderful community of parents and students. I am honored to lead such a wonderful campus!


    Assistant Principal Reigan O'QuinnAssistant Principal

    My name is Reigan O’Quinn. I am excited to be a part of Old Union’s well respected faculty and staff in the role of Assistant Principal.

    I earned my Bachelor Degree from the Univesity of North Texas, and my Masters Degree from Hardin Simmons University in Abilene. I am also a Licensed Professional Counselor, and have been teaching for a total of 17 years. I was a Second Grade Teacher at Monday Primary in Kaufman, Texas for three years, and have served in the roles as Science Lab Teacher, Second Grade Teacher, Special Education Teacher, and Counselor at Carroll Elementary for the past 14 years.

    I am married to Keith O’Quinn and we have three children-Mysti and Brittney, both Carroll graduates, and Brock an junior at CSHS. When not at school you will probably see me at Brock's basketball, football, and baseball events, or at Dallas Cowboy games.

    I feel very blessed and honored to be chosen to help serve the students and families of Old Union Elementary School and looking forward to a great school year. 


    Counselor Nicole Stolle

    My name is Nicole Stolle and I am excited to meet all of you throughout the school year.   I believe in an open door policy with a supportive, listening ear. When concerns arise with staff, students or families, I will be available. 

    I feel being an educator is one of the greatest gifts, and I want to spread that fulfillment to others through my counseling program.   As a counselor, I am involved in many areas, like classroom guidance, lunch bunch, academic intervention coordinator, and individual crisis supporter.  

    My educational background entails, graduating from Texas Tech University in 1989 with my Bachelors in Elementary Education, then, receiving my Masters in School Counseling from Dallas Baptist University in 2010. 

    I am greatly looking forward to this school year!  Please make sure to stop by and say hello.


     Sadee Sadee Stolle, Therapy Dog

    Sadee Stolle is the newest member of the OUES Counseling Program. She is a 3 year old Border Collie who is a certified therapy dog through Pet Partners.

    Currently, Sadee works throughout the week greeting students in the mornings, participating in classroom lessons, and comforting students as needed. Students have the opportunity to earn reward time with Sadee, sometimes reading to her, watching her perform tricks or just petting her.

    The addition of Sadee to the OUES counseling program has the potential to make a significant difference in the lives of children.
