  • 2021 Homecoming Dance

    The 2021 9th-12th grade Homecoming Dance will take place at the DFW Hyatt Regency in the airport on Saturday, September 25th from 7:00 pm - 11:00 pm. CISD student tickets are available for purchase through Skyward Student Fees for $35 through Wednesday, September 22nd at 11:59 pm. If CISD student tickets have not been purchased at that time, tickets will be available for CISD student purchase at the door for $50 the night of the dance (cash or check only)Students that arrive at the dance after 9:00 pm will not be allowed to enter and will not be eligible for a refund. Please see the information below for the purchase of 2021 Homecoming Dance tickets as there have been several changes made to the process.

    The homecoming dance will be for Carroll Senior High School and Carroll High School students only.

    CISD 9th-12th Grade Student Ticket Purchase Instructions

    Tickets for the 2021 9th-12th grade CISD Homecoming Dance are now for sale through Student Fees in Skyward Family & Student Access. CISD students may make a one-time purchase of only one ticket for the dance (one ticket per CISD Student ID). Multiple logins and/or purchases will not be permitted. There will not be a generated ticket upon purchase and/or payment, but you can print the receipt as documentation of purchase. CISD students will check-in at the dance using their CISD issued student ID.

  • Strategic Planning Community Summits 

    Your input is needed!

    All CISD community members are invited to attend a strategic planning community summit to share their highest hopes for their children and what excellence should look for the next five years and beyond. Below are the dates, times and locations for the strategic planning summits:

    • Tuesday, September 28 at The Marq from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.
    • Wednesday, September 29 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at Carroll High School in the cafeteria for parents and the library for students.

    We encourage everyone to bring a friend, a brown bag lunch or dinner and join us in our strategic planning process. Click here to learn more.

  • CHS PSAT/PreACT October 13th

    On Wednesday October 13th Carroll High School will be administering the PSAT to all enrolled sophomores and the PreACT for all enrolled freshman. Parents do not need to register for these exams. A reminder that there is no virtual/online testing available for the PSAT or PreACT. Students will report in-person at CHS to take the test.

    Room assignments will be posted on the library windows and front staircase by Tuesday October 12th.

    What to Bring on Test Day:

    • #2 pencils, not mechanical (College Board does not guarantee that answers will scan when using a mechanical pencil).
    • A calculator. You must bring your own calculator or test without one. Calculators will NOT be provided on test day.

    Test Day Information:

    • Testing will start promptly at 8:00am.
    • Cell phones and smart watches are NOT allowed and must be turned in to the teacher
    • CHS Parents please provide a sack lunch for your student, no lunches will be served in the cafeteria. Students will not be released from classrooms to pick up food or beverages from the drop off table. Students will eat lunches in their testing rooms when testing is complete.
    • Shuttle buses WILL NOT RUN between campuses on this day and there will be NO student dismissals until testing is completed. Testing is estimated to be finished by 12:30pm.

    Times are approximate and may change based on testing needs.

    Students with classes that meet at the Senior High should report to the cafeteria for a study hall. Attendance will be taken.

  • Join Dr. Ledbetter for Dragon Update

    Join Dr. Ledbetter for the new Dragon Update series! Dr. Ledbetter will be hosting weekly, 10-minute zoom calls every Thursday at 12:30 p.m. this school year to update families on important happenings within the district.   • Carroll Pink Out Game to be Held October 8

    The 13th annual Dragon Pink Out Game will be held on Friday, October 8, when the Carroll Dragons take on Keller Central at 7 p.m. at Dragon Stadium. Prior to kickoff at the Pink Out Game, there will be an on-field recognition for breast cancer survivors. Survivors from all branches of the Dragon community are invited to attend and be recognized on the field. Click here to read more and to sign up for the survivor recognition.

  • The Dragon Shop

    The Dragon Shop is open on Thursdays from 11:00am-12:30pm.  Cash, check and credit card are accepted.

  • Volunteer Registration Now Open for 2021-2022 School Year

    Volunteer Registration is now open for the new school year. If you were not an approved volunteer for the 2020-2021 school year, you must set up a new account for 2021-2022 and agree to a criminal background check. Click here to learn more about volunteering in Carroll ISD and sign up today.

  • Carroll ISD Seeking Substitutes for the 2021-2022 School Year
