  • Twenty-Two National Merit Semifinalists at CSHS
    Carroll ISD is proud to announce that 22 of our students have been recognized by the NMSC. These academically talented high school seniors have an opportunity to continue in the competition for some 7,500 National Merit Scholarships worth more than $32 million that will be offered next spring.  For more information, click here.

  • Carroll Jazz Band Lands Local Jazz Ensemble Seats
    Students in the Carroll Jazz program produced exceptional results last Saturday at the All-Region Jazz Auditions for TMEA Region 31, which consists of the Carrollton-Farmers Branch, Coppell, Grapevine-Colleyville, HEB, Birdville and Carroll school districts. Out of 40 available chairs in two jazz ensembles, Carroll Dragons are occupying 24 of them. Read the full story here.

  • Dragon Pride Preview Party on September 28th
    You are invited to attend our annual Dragon Pride Preview Party! Join the festivities as we unveil the 2017 Dragon Pride football edition. Varsity football players will be on hand to autograph your issue so bring your lil' Dragons to meet, greet, and take photos with them, the Emerald Belles and Dragon cheerleaders. Come out to GAMEDAY at The GIFT Store at 2225 W Southlake Boulevard Suite #429 at 5:30 on Thursday September 28.

  • Carroll Theatre Opens Season With Production of Mama Won't Fly Beginning September 28th
    Carroll Theatre is kicking off their 2017-2018 school year with a production of Mama Won't Fly, by Jones, Hope & Wooten. This outrageously hilarious race against the clock performance opens Thursday, September 28, at 7:00 p.m. in the Carroll Senior High School black box theatre.   • Carroll Pink Out Game to be Held September 29
    The 9th annual Dragon Pink Out Game will be held on Friday, September 29, when the Carroll Dragons take on the Flower Mound Jaguars at 7:30 p.m. at Dragon Stadium. The Pink Out game will be held right before the start of October, which is national breast cancer awareness month and a month that Carroll ISD will use to honor breast cancer survivors and raise awareness and funds to fight breast cancer.   • Dragons Go Blue on Monday, October 2nd
    This year Carroll ISD is focusing on the wellness and resiliency of our students in many different areas.  One of the areas we are focusing on bullying. Dragons Go Blue is our kick off to National Bullying Prevention Month and we are asking all students, teachers, and staff to wear blue on Monday, October 2.   • Carroll Homecoming Activities Coming to Town Square October 11
    The Student Councils at Carroll High School and Carroll Senior High School are teaming up to host the Carroll homecoming parade, carnival and pep rally in Southlake Town Square on Wednesday, October 11. The carnival will be held from 4:30-6:30 p.m., the parade will begin at 6:30 p.m., and the pep rally will begin immediately following the completion of the parade.   • Dragon Alumni Network "The Tradition" Hosts 1st Annual Homecoming Event on October 14th
    The Tradition, the Dragon Alumni Network, will be hosting the 1st Annual Homecoming Event, a roast of Carroll's Texas High School Hall of Famer Coach Bob Ledbetter, on Saturday, October 14, at the Marriott Solana. The reception will begin at 6:00 p.m., dinner at 7:00 p.m., and the Roast will be at 7:30 p.m. Scheduled speakers include a host of Dragon legends, legends of Texas high school football, and Chauncey Willingham as the Master of Ceremonies.   • Registration Now Open for Emerald Belles Junior Belle Clinic & Workshop
    Save the Date! The award-winning Emerald Belle drill team will host its annual Junior Belle Dance Clinic for girls K-4, and Dance Workshop for grades 5-8, October 21 from 1:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m. at Carroll Senior High School. Registration is at www.emeraldbelles.com. Advance fees are $50 for the clinic and $80 for the workshop. Registration after October 18 will be $55 and $85 respectively at the door. These fees include a commemorative t-shirt, Junior Belle souvenir photo button, a snack and a beverage. For questions please email jrbelleclinic2017@gmail.com.
