  • Dragon Hockey Senior Night is Thursday, January 24th, AND State Tournament this weekend!
    Join us on Thursday, January 23 at 7 pm at the Euless StarCenter. Senior recognition takes place just before the game vs McKinney.  State Tournament begins Friday, January 24 5:45 pm  vs Highland Park. Dragon Hockey will also play Saturday, January 25 at 9:00 am vs McKinney and 8:15 pm vs Frisco.  All State games are played at the Valley Ranch StarCenter.

  • Cheer Packets Available Beginning January 27!
    Packets for CHS / CSHS (9th - 12th) cheer will be available from January 27 - February 10.
    Packets will be available in the front offices of CMS, DMS, CHS, and CSHS.

  • Special Programs College, Career and Transition Fair - February 6!
    CISD Special Programs hosting the College, Career and Transition Fair February 6, 2020, at Carroll Senior High School from 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm. Several Colleges, vocational school and special programs will be present. The event will include Guest Speaker Ron Venable, MA Assistant Directory of the Office of Student Accessibility UT Dallas. This fair will help high school students with learning differences gain knowledge about college, applications process, career opportunities, Department of Disability Services, and transition needs when pursuing post-secondary education or training. For more information click here or contact Juliana Jenkins - juliana.jenkins@southlakecarroll.edu, 817-949-5862.   • Deep Romance Arrangement by Dragon Blooms!
    Valentine's Day is coming up soon, and what better way to show you care that a beautiful dozen rose arrangement from Dragon Blooms? This Deep Romance arrangement features Heart roses, Blue thistle, Misty Blue limonium, and Moon Lagoon eucalyptus. Only $40 and all proceeds go to support CSHS Dragon Blooms.  Pick up will be on Thursday February 13 at CSHS from noon till 6 pm.

  • CISD Offers SAT/ACT Test Prep Course!
    Carroll ISD will be offering juniors the opportunity to take an SAT or ACT test prep course during the school day. The sessions will begin in early February and will go through March. The testing dates have been adjusted to better accommodate the needs of our students.  The course will be offered at CSHS from 1:51-3:21 by the More Than A Teacher Test Prep Company.  The cost is $159.  Click here to register.  Registration will not be complete until payment is received.

  • Save the Date - Class of 2020 Interfaith Baccalaureate - May 24th at 4PM!
    Senior 2020 Parents... please mark your calendars for the 2020 Baccalaureate service, which will be held on Sunday, May 24, at 4:00 pm at White's Chapel United Methodist Church. Baccalaureate is an interfaith service to honor all CSHS graduating seniors and their families. The service will include words of inspiration, music, and common prayer, presented by Carroll senior students of many faiths.  Attendance is optional.  More information will go out to Senior Parents and Students later this month.

  • Flag Flown Over Nation's Capitol Presented to Dragon Media!
    In late November, Dragon Media traveled the Washington D.C. to attend the National Journalism Education Association (JEA) Conference. During their visit, they were given a personal tour of the nation's capitol from Representative Wright that included seats in the gallery during a congressional vote. During their time in Washington D.C., Representative Wright requested that a US flag be flown over the capitol building in Dragon Media's honor.
    Today, he delivered and presented that flag to the students and teachers present on the trip. Click here to read more.
