  • CSHS Student Council is Hosting a Cuddle Drive

    CSHS Student Council is hosting a Cuddle Drive on January 25 through February 5, befitting local foster children. To receive generic or NHS hours, bring one backpack stuffed with one plush blanket, one pair of socks, one children’s storybook, one stuffed animal, one twin sheet set, and one pillowcase. Students will be eligible to receive one hour for every $5 spent – all backpacks must be complete and can be dropped off in CSHS room 116 or on February 5 between 3:30-4:30 pm behind the CSHS SAC.   • National Technical Honor Society Information

    The National TECHNICAL Honor Society application period is now open to students 9-12 that meet the criteria listed in this announcement. A student that believes they qualify should see their current CTE teacher for more information on how to apply. NTHS only accepts applications in January of each school year, and the deadline to apply is January 31.

  • Updated SAT Information for Juniors

    The signing of House Bill 3 by Governor Greg Abbott has allowed Carroll ISD to offer the SAT (without the writing portion) to any junior student. This includes juniors that have already taken the SAT on a weekend administration. This test will be offered during the school day at no cost to parents/guardians or to the district. Students will not be counted absent. Testing will take place on Wednesday, March 3, at 8 am at CSHS. To take advantage of the SAT School Day testing opportunity, students/parents must register by Wednesday, January 27 by 2:00 p.m. To register go to the following link: SAT School Day Sign-Up JUNIOR Students Only No late registrations will be accepted.
    Please Note: There is no virtual/online testing available for the SAT School Day. 11th grade students registered (DVA or Face-to-Face) to take the SAT School Day will report in-person at CSHS to take the test. If you have any questions about SAT testing, please contact Melinda Schott –

  • Water Polo Information Meeting

    The SLCWP team will hold the 2021 season kick-off meeting on January 26 from 6:30-8:30 p.m.  The meeting will be held at Carroll High School in the cafeteria. Registration information, gear orders, and a schedule will be provided during the meeting.   • Dragon GT Booster Accepting Senior Scholarship Applications Now

    SAGT is proud to offer a $1,500 scholarship to a 2021 graduating senior. Applications will open on February 15 and all aspects must be completed by midnight on March 31.   • Interested in Joining Odyssey of the Mind?
    Odyssey of the Mind is an international creative and educational problem solving program. Carroll ISD has a rich history in OM. If your dragon is looking for an extra-curricular challenge which is both fun and enriching, look no further! OM is starting the registration process for new and returning teams. Here is how you can get involved:

    • Parents who are interested in their dragon joining a team, click here to leave your information, and check with like- minded folks to form a team – bear in mind that a team is comprised of seven team members and a coach.
