At Carroll ISD, we believe that every Dragon and family in our community deserves access to the resources and support needed to thrive. We understand that times of need can arise, and our district is here to provide guidance and assistance through a variety of programs and services. Whether it's academic, financial, emotional, or social support, we are committed to ensuring that no family walks alone. Below, you’ll find an overview of available services designed to help all Dragons succeed.
Our assistance services include:

Academic Support Programs: From tutoring to special education services, we offer tailored educational support to meet each student's unique needs.
- Free and Reduced Lunch Program: We provide assistance with meal programs for families in need.
- Emotional and Mental Health Resources: Our counselors and mental health professionals are available to offer support, whether through one-on-one sessions or by connecting families with outside resources.
- Family & Community Resources: We work closely with local organizations to connect families with needs services.

2-1-1 Texas and 2-1-1 North Texas - "2-1-1 Texas is a free statewide 24-hour information and referral service. By simply dialing 2-1-1, callers can receive information about community and social services, such as food pantries, emergency shelter, rent assistance, utility bill assistance, child care, and senior services to name a few."
Dragons Care - "Dragons Care is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that supports the teachers, staff, and School Resource Officers (SRO's) of Carroll ISD (CISD) as they walk through personal hardships brought on by illness, injury or family tragedy. We exist to serve, support and love our staff in their time of need as they care for our children on a daily basis."
Altrusa- Food Assistance - "Altrusa DFW Foundation is a local non-profit 501(c)3 community service organization, with membership open to all. Our primary focus is on hunger and literacy among children and women in need."
Carroll ISD Free and Reduced Lunch Program - application and supporting documentation is required at the beginning of each school year.
Texas Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) - TANF provides cash payments to help families pay for food, clothing, housing and other essentials.
