Board of Trustees Elections

The Board of Trustees consists of seven board members elected to serve, without compensation, for overlapping terms of three years each.  Elections are conducted annually in May.  While candidates run for specific places, they do not represent specific geographical areas; rather, each represents Carroll ISD at large. As part of our commitment to transparency of the election process, the district will post information including timelines, candidate applications, and other important information you may find informative and helpful. Carroll ISD participates in joint elections with other entities and contracts with the Tarrant County Elections Office to administer the election. Registered voters may vote early by personal appearance at any of the Tarrant County early voting locations, but may only vote at the assigned polling location for their precinct on the actual election day. 

NOTICE

Qualifying for a place in the Trustee General Election scheduled for May 4, 2024 ended at 5:00 p.m. on February 16, 2024. Additionally, no write-in candidates declared their intentions to be on the ballot. At the close of this process, only one candidate for each place to be contested had qualified:

As prescribed by Sections 2.051-2.053 of the Texas Election Code, the governing body responsible for calling the Trustee General Election may issue an order canceling the election when candidates are unopposed after qualifying has been completed. Upon adopting the order of cancellation, copies of the order will be posted at the polling locations where voting would have occurred.
