Cameron Bryan - Place 4
President

Cameron Bryan is the Place 4 Trustee on the Carroll ISD School Board, who was elected to his first three-year term in May 2021 and currently serves as President of the Board. He has made Southlake his home since 2004, and together with his wife, Amanda, has three Dragon alumni and one current Dragon student.

Mr. Bryan is a career public servant and leader in the aviation industry. Having managed large airport infrastructure programs across the nation, his career encompasses over 30 years of capital planning and budget experience. Mr. Bryan graduated from Auburn University with a degree in civil engineering.

Over the last decade, Mr. Bryan has mentored, coached, and taught hundreds of Southlake’s children in various youth programs. While having served a seven-year tenure on the board of directors for Dragon Youth Football, and was the president of the North Texas Football League, he also served as an Odyssey of the Mind volunteer coach.

Andrew Yeager - Place 7

Andrew Yeager is the Place 7 Trustee on the Carroll ISD School Board, who was elected to a three-year term in May 2022 / May 2025 and currently serves as Vice President of the Board. Mr. Yeager and his wife Patty have been married for over 25 years and are the proud parents of three Dragon graduates. He has resided in Southlake for eight years and is an active and respected leader and community volunteer.

Mr. Yeager is a successful media sales director and adjunct professor with a long history of community involvement and leadership. Born in Ann Arbor, Michigan, Mr. Yeager was raised by a community college professor who instilled in him the value of hard work and education at a very young age. That early emphasis on education and growth would ultimately go on to drive his dedication and passion for pursuing knowledge, growth, and excellence in every endeavor he undertook. Mr. Yeager earned his B.A. in Communications from the University of Michigan and M.A. in Integrated Marketing with honors from Marist College in New York. 

After earning his undergraduate degree, Mr. Yeager forged a successful career in media sales. With 30 years of experience in management and team leadership working for some of the world’s largest media companies, he has proven himself as a consistent and proven leader in both the office and the community.

Mr. Yeager volunteers with the Carroll High School Marching Band Boosters and is a member of Southlake Sister Cities. He is a member of the Grapevine Sailing Club, having participated in both its Main Street Days fundraiser and as a fleet secretary. Mr. Yeager has also volunteered for the Junior Achievement business education program, National Clear the Shelters Pet Adoption Day, and is a mentor to his media sales students. He coached his daughters' soccer team for eight years and led the YMCA's Adventure Guides/Indian Princess program.

Christy Stacy - Place 1

Christy Stacy is the Place 1 Trustee on the Carroll ISD School Board, who was elected to a three-year term in May 2023 and currently serves as Secretary of the Board. Mrs. Stacy and her husband Mitch, both K-12 Carroll Dragon Alums, have been married for 24 years and are the proud parents of four, 5th generation, Dragons: Class of ‘26, Class of ‘30, Class of ‘33, and Class of ‘35. As a Class of ‘99 Dragon, Mrs. Stacy loved being an Emerald Belle Sr. Lt. and the choreographer for the Girl's Ensemble Show Choir.  She was raised by an elementary school teacher and small business owner who taught her the importance of hard work, sacrifice, servant leadership and the value of education and trade programs.  

As a 20-year-long small business owner in retail and manufacturing, Mrs. Stacy has an entrepreneurial and business background with professional skills in corporate and direct sales, marketing and communication, administration, management, team building, and finance.  For 10 years, Mrs. Stacy has trained direct sales representatives on regional and national platforms with Top 1% in sales recognition corporately.  In addition to stewarding their own company and raising their children, Mr. and Mrs. Stacy dedicate much of their time in service to the community and to volunteering with CISD. 

Mrs. Stacy  values building relationships, researching and seeking out information to understand, and being solutions driven.  In the past four years, she has been an active member of the following: CISD Strategic Planning Committee, CISD Policy Review Committee, CISD Student and Staff Wellness Committee, CISD District Advisory Committee, CISD Strategic Plan Action Team for Curriculum and Instruction Goals 1 & 4, CISD Strategic Action Team for Special Programs, CISD Teacher Awards Criteria Committee, CMS Campus Improvement Committee, 2022 CISD Secondary Teacher of the Year Selection Committee, 2022 CISD CLASS program graduate, CISD Teacher Ambassadors Committee, 2022-23 Carroll Education Foundation Board member, JES/DIS/CMS/CHS-CSHS PTO member, and currently serves as CISD's Board Representative to our campus PTO Presidents.  

Mrs. Stacy and her son will continue their service with Scholars & Athletes Serving Others (SASO), while her husband continues to serve in leadership with Dragon Youth Baseball and the Carroll Athletic Booster Club. 

Mrs. Stacy commits and dedicates her time to serve and steward EVERY Dragon's educational experience with integrity, accountability, efficiency and humility. She is honored to serve CISD in this capacity.

Eric Lannen - Place 2

Eric Lannen was reelected for a second term as the Place 2 Trustee in May 2023.  He formerly served as President of the Board in 2022. He has lived in Southlake with his wife, Jill since 2014. The Lannens have three Dragons who graduated from Carroll in 2016, 2020 and 2023.

Mr. Lannen has spent over 33 years working in human resources and overseeing other business support functions including communications, real estate, facilities management and security. He is currently the Chief Human Resources Officer for Westwood Professional Services, an engineering firm,  with locations in more than 30 states. Prior to joining Westwood in May 2023, Mr. Lannen’s professional experience included executive leadership roles at Archaea Energy, Basic Energy Services, Dyncorp International, McDermott International, IBM and Halliburton Company. Mr. Lannen graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology and a minor in Real Estate. He holds two professional certifications: a Senior Certified Professional by the Society of Human Resource Managers, and a Senior Professional in Human Resources by the HR Certification Institute.

Mr. Lannen is an active member of the CISD community. He is and has been a volunteer and supporter of Young Life Ministries for over 36 years and helped start Southlake Young Life in 2016. He has served on the Crime Control & Prevention Board (CCPD) for the City of Southlake, which is responsible for the CISD School Resource Officers (SRO) Program. He has served as the president of his local neighborhood Home Owners Association for the past five years. Mr. Lannen was on the Carroll Education Foundation Board until joining the school board and he continues to serve on the CEF Advisory Committee. He has more than seven years’ experience serving on various CISD school board committees including: four years on the District Advisory Committee, six years serving on the School Health Advisory Council, two years on the Audit Committee, and two years on the Budget & Finance Committee. Mr. Lannen is a graduate of the CISD CLASS program and a graduate of the City of Southlake’s Citizens Academy. He is very involved in his local church, 121 Community Church, where he is a part of the outreach team.

Place 3 - Mandy Reece

Mandy Reece is the Place 3 Trustee on the Carroll ISD Board of Trustees and was elected to her first term in November 2025. She and her husband Matt have been married for nearly 20 years and joined the Dragon family in 2014. Together they have four children, including two sons currently enrolled in Carroll ISD and two adult daughters. Mrs. Reece is also the proud grandmother of four grandchildren, two of whom attend Carroll ISD.

Mrs. Reece began her 30-year medical career after high school in a vocational program as a Surgical Technologist. At just 18 years old she was part of an orthopedic trauma team assisting surgeons in operating rooms. She later led organ and tissue procurement organizations across the United States. While living the unpredictable life of a military family raising children and working full time Mrs. Reece returned to school at the College of Southern Nevada to earn her Registered Nurse degree.

After moving to Texas in 2014 following Matt’s military service, Mrs. Reece entered the home health industry. She advanced from a new Registered Nurse to Chief Operations Officer of a home health organization, providing skilled medical services to patients throughout Texas. In addition to her professional role, she serves on multiple statewide boards and works with legislators in Austin to help improve patient care and healthcare outcomes across Texas.

Mrs. Reece’s commitment to community service has led her to leadership roles within Dragon Youth Baseball and the Ballpark Club. Her experiences as a healthcare executive, military spouse, parent, and community volunteer have shaped her character and leadership style. Mrs. Reece believes that success is built on faith, family, hard work, and expertise and she brings common sense leadership, a strong understanding of complex systems, and a steadfast commitment to ensuring Carroll ISD remains a leader in public education in Texas.

Renee Bottom - Place 5

Renee Bottom is the Place 5 Trustee on the Carroll ISD School Board, who was elected to her first three-year term in May 2024. Mrs. Bottom serves as a dedicated community advocate and active volunteer in Carroll ISD. She and her family chose to make Southlake their home because of the district’s excellent academics. With two elementary children who love being Dragons, Mrs. Bottom is deeply invested in the success of Carroll ISD.

Coming from a family of educators, Mrs. Bottom's commitment to education runs deep. Her mother enjoyed a 40-year career as a public school teacher, and her husband currently teaches entrepreneurship at Southern Methodist University (SMU) and a venture capital course at the University of Southern California (USC).

Mrs. Bottom holds an M.B.A. and brings over 20 years of professional experience, earning multiple awards for leadership and execution. Her business acumen and strategic thinking have been pivotal in addressing the district’s fiscal challenges.

Recognized as a trailblazer in the community, Mrs. Bottom has been at the forefront of advocating for Carroll ISD students and developing long-term strategies to address school funding issues. Drawing on her experience navigating the California state legislature, she has built relationships with members of the Texas House and Senate Public Education Committees and has even testified on key school funding legislation in the Texas Senate.

Understanding that statewide change requires collective effort, Mrs. Bottom has organized meetings with Trustees from districts across Texas, focusing on those with high Robin Hood Recapture and budget deficits, including Plano ISD, Spring Branch, and Lewisville ISD. To amplify her efforts, she has collaborated with the Texas School Coalition, a group of 114 ISDs dedicated to recapture reform, which includes neighboring districts like Grapevine-Colleyville and Keller. Her efforts have laid the groundwork for innovative solutions to Carroll ISD’s budget challenges.

Mrs. Bottom serves on the District Human Capital Committee and actively supports her local PTO. In addition, her family is heavily involved in the community through the Dragon Youth Football Program, and she mentors youth through various programs. Her family attends Good Shepherd Catholic Church.

Alex Sexton - Place 6

Alex Sexton is the Place 6 Trustee on the Carroll ISD School Board, who was elected to his first three-year term in May 2022. Mr. Sexton is an Air Force veteran and business developer with more than 20 years of experience in project management and logistics. As parents of three Dragons, Mr. Sexton and his wife Jennifer (a former full-time elementary teacher for five years in Title I schools) are deeply invested in the future of CISD and helping our local schools achieve success.

Throughout his life, Mr. Sexton has maintained a strong commitment to service before self. He received a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from The Citadel, Military College of South Carolina, before going on to receive his M.B.A. from Wright State University. Mr. Sexton has attended graduate level marketing courses at Clemson to further strengthen his education.

With a professional background in contracts, finance, and marketing, Mr. Sexton seeks to put his executive experience and team-building skills to work as a member of the CISD school board – helping to responsibly manage the district’s resources and maximize returns for all Dragons. He is a member of the CISD Strategic Planning Committee and has a long-standing commitment to the community that also includes serving on the City of Southlake Zoning Board of Adjustments. Mr. Sexton previously served as a Cub Scout Leader, a youth soccer and football coach, and has volunteered his time in various capacities in classrooms in multiple states.
