Board of Trustees Elections
The Board of Trustees consists of seven board members elected to serve, without compensation, for overlapping terms of three years each. Elections are conducted annually in May. While candidates run for specific places, they do not represent specific geographical areas; rather, each represents Carroll ISD at large. As part of our commitment to transparency of the election process, the district will post information including timelines, candidate applications, and other important information you may find informative and helpful. If you have any questions about our election process, please email Carroll ISD Elections at elections@southlakecarroll.edu.
Carroll ISD participates in joint elections with other entities and contracts with the Tarrant County Elections Office to administer the election. Registered voters may vote early by personal appearance at any of the Tarrant County early voting locations, but may only vote at the assigned polling location for their precinct on the actual election day.
