Communications & Engagement
The Communications & Engagement Department serves as a liaison between the school district and community, providing information upon public request and facilitating effective communication between the Board of Trustees, school staff, students, parents and community members.
The Department also concentrates its efforts on maximizing the resources and facilities in CISD by establishing relationships and partnerships with the business community.
Communications & Engagement handles the following:
- public information/open records requests
- marketing and sponsorship initiatives
- logo licensing and enforcement
- We Care employee appreciation program
- printed publications, including Inside Carroll magazine
- Dragon eBlast
- social media & Mobile Dragon app
- media relations & press releases
- website design & management
- crisis communications/PR counseling
- communications/PR staff training
- public opinion surveying & community relations
- flyer approval & distribution
- special events
