The Dragon eBlast is a daily email newsletter published by the Communications & Community Engagement Department to create greater understanding and support of the Carroll Independent School District. It includes news and topics about Carroll ISD such as academics, arts & entertainment, sports, fundraisers, special events and more. As a courtesy, the eBlast also includes a Community News section for non-school-related news stories as space permits.

The Dragon eBlast currently has about 15,000+ subscribers. Our readers include CISD staff, parents, students, local businesses and residents in the Southlake and surrounding communities. Individuals interested in CISD news from outside the area may also subscribe.

The Dragon eBlast is sent bi-weekly on Tuesdays and Thursdays and does not typically run on school holidays or breaks. Occasionally, CISD may choose to issue a morning Special Edition eBlast as news warrants.

The eBlast is automatically sent to CISD staff and parents using the email addresses included in Skyward Family Access. New families and/or other subscribers may sign up to receive the Dragon eBlast by clicking on the button below.

Each eBlast features the banner ad from a local business. To advertise in the Dragon eBlast, please contact Jaclyn Harwell, Marketing Coordinator.

To submit news for the newsletter, please send it to eBLAST@southlakecarroll.edu. Submitting news does not guarantee placement in the eBlast.
