Introducing ParentSquare, a new communication platform coming to Carroll ISD in 2026-27!

ParentSquare will serve as the central hub for district, campus, classroom, and group communication, making it easier for families to stay informed and connected. Parents and guardians will be able to receive messages by email, text message, phone call, or through the ParentSquare mobile app, all from one convenient place.

ParentSquare will replace several existing communication tools currently used across the District, allowing families to access important school information through a single platform.

One Place for School Communication

Rather than checking multiple apps and websites for updates, ParentSquare brings school communication together in one easy-to-use platform.

Through ParentSquare, families will receive:

  • District and campus announcements
  • Classroom communication from teachers
  • Newsletters and school updates
  • Attendance notifications
  • Event reminders
  • Emergency and urgent alerts
  • Forms, permission slips, sign-ups, and more

ParentSquare also offers automatic translation in 190+ languages, making two-way communication more accessible for all Carroll ISD families.

What's Changing?

Beginning with the 2026-2027 school year, ParentSquare will become Carroll ISD's primary school-to-home communication platform.

As part of this transition, ParentSquare will replace several communication tools previously used across the district, bringing district, campus, classroom, and group communication together in one convenient location.

Additionally, the Carroll ISD mobile app will be retired and will no longer be active after the end of July 2026. Families who previously relied on the district app for school updates and notifications are encouraged to download the free ParentSquare app to continue receiving important information from Carroll ISD.

With ParentSquare, families can access announcements, newsletters, direct messages, attendance notifications, event reminders, emergency alerts, forms, sign-ups, and more—all within a single platform.

This streamlined approach helps ensure important information is easier to find and less likely to be missed.

Getting Started

Before the start of the school year, parents and guardians will receive an email invitation to activate their ParentSquare account.

Your invitation will be sent to the email address associated with your Skyward Family Access account. Simply follow the instructions in the email to activate your account and begin using ParentSquare.

To get the most out of ParentSquare, Carroll ISD strongly encourages families to download the free mobile app after activating their account.

Tech Troubleshooting

We know that technology doesn't always work as expected and issues will arise. If you are having trouble logging in, verifying your account, or signing in, please try logging out, clearing your cache, and logging back in. We understand the annoyance of logging in and doing the two factor authentication again, but this does sometimes resolve issues for users. Likewise, if you are not receiving the code to your email, please check your spam folder. If you continue to have technical issues, please submit a help ticket at the link below.
