The Carroll Business Academy (CBA) is a high school CTE program tailored for students passionate about pursuing careers in the business field. Specifically designed for students who are passionate about Entrepreneurship, CBA offers a comprehensive curriculum focusing on business fundamentals and the entrepreneurial spirit. CBA provides students with unique opportunities for specialized training and mentorship, including hands-on learning in the area of starting, developing, and pitching a business, industry seminars, and entrepreneurial skills.
We also host guest speakers from diverse business backgrounds, fostering networking opportunities and exposure to real-world experiences. Additionally, students engage in immersive experiences such as visits to local businesses, participation in Shark Tank-type business competitions, and internships with local companies. In their senior year, students have the opportunity to enroll in a practicum course where they shadow mentors in various business settings, gaining invaluable insights and practical skills to prepare them for future success in the dynamic world of business.
