Staff Learning Opportunities

 

The Curriculum and Instruction Department, Special Programs Department, and Technology Department are pleased to offer opportunities for our educator's professional growth while obtaining the necessary professional development hours required by the district. The district offers opportunities to acquire up to (18) hours of professional development outside of contractual time (FLEX) for professional employees with less than 226 contract days. These hours replace the three (3) days prior to Thanksgiving each school year.

NOTE: All Out of District Professional Learning must be approved prior to registration.

Out of District Approval Process:

• The approval process begins with this form completed and turned into campus principals. 
• If the learning opportunity is approved at the campus, it will go through additional phases of approval.
