Applications
I completed an application and would like to update it. Is my application still current or do I have to start over?
If you completed an application with Applicant Tracking within the last calendar year, your application will still be in our system, you will just need to login and update it. Please visit the Employment Opportunities webpage to login to your application.
Once I have completed and submitted the online application, how do I receive confirmation of receipt?
Once an online application is received, an automated response will be sent to the email address you provided on your application.
Once I've completed my online application, how can I view the jobs for which I've applied?
To view this information, login to your online application and choose "Vacancy Desired" on the left hand side.
What's the status of my completed application?
All campus administrators have access to online applications and will contact applications and make decisions regarding potential interviews and employment opportunities. Completion of an application does not guarantee an interview. Interviews are contingent upon vacancy, eligibility and need.
Certification
Am I required to be certified to teach in Texas before applying for jobs in Carroll ISD?
Applicants eligible to apply for a teaching position must have the following:
- a valid Texas teaching certificate, or:
- an out-of-state teaching certificate, credentials reviewed by the Texas Education Agency, taken and passed the appropriate exam for content area, or:
- have a letter from TEA permitting exemption from taking exams, or:
- have a degree and have chosen an alternative entity and taken and passed the appropriate exam for content area.
Applicants who have a degree but are not certified must be seeking an alternative program or be certified to teach in another state. There is a place on the application for candidates to indicate participation in an alternative certification program - or a place to designate that a program is being sought. Documents
If I'm unable to upload information to the system, may I send copies by U.S. mail?
No. All additional documents must be attached and sent electronically with the online application. School administrators have access to applicant information and are only able to download online applications, along with documents, electronically. On the attachment page of the application, click "Add file attachment" and scroll down. Click on the link "Having trouble attaching your document? Click here for help."
Am I able to mail my documents if I don't have access to a scanning machine?
No. Carroll ISD's goal is to create and maintain a paperless application process. The Human Resources Department will contact applicants should additional information be required.
Name & Address Change
I need to change my address and/or phone number.
- Login to Frontline Central. Click on My Forms, Forms I Can Start, and then Click "Start This Form" under Personnel Change Form.
- You must also complete a TRS Address Change Form and mail it directly to TRS or login to your My TRS account to change your address.
I need to change my name.
- Login to Frontline Central. Click on My Forms, Forms I Can Start, and then Click "Start This Form" under Personnel Change Form.
- Employees who hold certification with the State Board for Educator Certification i.e., certified teachers/paraprofessionals should login to their TEA account and submit a name change email. Login to your TEA account.
Please note: Employees no longer need to notify TRS of their name change in writing. The Teacher Retirement System of Texas will be notified electronically of an employee’s name change after the employee has supplied Human Resources with the required documentation.
Resignation/Retirement
I am resigning from Carroll ISD. What do I need to do?
- Login to Frontline Central. Click on My Forms, Forms I Can Start, and then Click "Start This Form" under Resignation/Retirement Form
- A letter of resignation must be attached to the form
Username & Password
My username and password are not working; what do I do?
Request technical help
I previously created a, employment application account, but I forgot my user name and/or password; what should I do?
Please visit the Employment Application page and enter your email address on the log in screen and then click "Forgot Password" above the password box.
I am a substitute but I forgot my user name and/or password; what should I do?
Please refer back to the Welcome email your received from Frontline (look in SPAM) or email Help@southlakecarroll.edu
