Leaves & Absences
Carroll ISD offers employees paid and unpaid leaves of absences in times of personal need. Employees who will be absent more than five consecutive days, have a need for intermittent leave, or any other qualifying event, should download the appropriate paperwork needed and contact the Human Resources Department to make an appointment to discuss your leave no later than thirty (30) days prior to your first day absent, if foreseeable. Information applicable to leave benefits, payment of insurance premiums and requirements for communicating with the district will be discussed at this meeting. - FMLA Self - Employee who has been with the district at least one year and needs leave for the employee's own medical condition.
- FMLA Self (Spanish)- Employee who has been with the district at least one year. Leave needed for the employee's own medical condition
- FMLA Family - Employee who has been with the district at least one year. Leave needed for a member of the employee's immediate family (parent, spouse, minor child)
- Non-FMLA Self Medical - Employee who has not been with the district at least one year. Leave needed for the employee's own medical condition
- Non-FMLA Family Medical - Employee who has not been with the district at least one year. Leave needed for a member of the employee's immediate family (parent, spouse, minor child)
- Non-FMLA - Leave that is not for medical purposes
- Non-FMLA (Spanish) - Leave that is not for medical purposes
