Applications for CISD PreK will be accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis. This form will time and date stamp the applications. PreK spots will be prioritized in the following order:
1. Employee Students
2. Southlake Residents
3. Open Enrollment (Resident of Southlake, but zoned to Keller ISD - Northwest ISD or Resident of Westlake)
4. City of Southlake First Responders or Peace Officer 1959
5. CISD zoned Grandparent Resident
In order to apply for CISD PreK, student must:
-Be 4-years-old on or before September 1, 2025
-Be 3-years-old on or before September 1, 2025
Texas PreK 'Eligible' Students who meet the age requirement AND State Eligibility will be asked for documentation of qualifying criteria. Texas Eligibility Guidelines: Texas Prek Eligibility Criteria.
Tuition Spots: Upon accepting a PreK tuition spot, you must submit payment for the first and last month's tuition. This payment is non-refundable. Staffing decisions are based on the number of enrolling students; therefore, it is essential that families accepting a tuition-based spot are committed to attending the program.
Regular attendance is essential for your child to fully benefit from the PreK program. By enrolling your child in the CISD High-Quality Prekindergarten public school program, you agree to adhere to the CISD School Calendar. Although PreK is not a mandatory program, once enrolled, your child is required to attend and is subject to compulsory attendance laws. The school day runs from 7:30 AM to 2:50 PM.
Students who are currently enrolled in PreK 3 will automatically receive a spot in the 4s class next year. Please DO NOT fill out a new application.
