Families new to Carroll ISD may register below for enrollment:
REGISTRATION FOR FAMILIES NEW TO CARROLL ISD FOR THE 2022-2023 SCHOOL YEAR STARTING ON AUGUST 15, 2022:
Classifications of Residency and Required Documentation:
1. For an established resident residing in a home owned within Carroll ISD boundaries:
- You may register online for the campus your home is zoned for with the following proof of residency:
- A copy of your most recent property tax statement indicating home ownership AND
- A current utility bill (electric or water) indicating the home address and the parent's name
2. For residents that have recently completed the purchase of an existing home in Carroll ISD boundaries:
You may register online for the campus your home is zoned for with the following proof of residency:
- A copy of the complete (all pages) final/signed Closing Disclosure, Warranty Deed, or HUD Settlement Statement received from your Title Company, including signature pages AND
- A copy of any water or electric deposit receipt; or a copy of your most current electric or water bills

For new residents leasing a home in Carroll ISD boundaries:
You may register online for the campus your home is zoned for with the following proof of residency:
- A copy of a valid, fully executed lease agreement (must be complete agreement with signatures from both tenant and landlord) AND
- A copy of the current electric and water bills or any electric or water deposit receipt AND
- A copy of enrolling parent/guardian's driver's license

For new residents with a signed/dated purchase contract for an existing home or a contract to build a new home in Carroll ISD boundaries:
All requested documents below must be returned for approval to Carroll ISD Student Services Department at 2400 N. Carroll Ave., Southlake Texas 76092. Documentation can be dropped off or sent through US Mail and can not be accepted via email. Once approved, instructions for online registration will be provided.
- Completed Attendance Request - Out of District Form (2022-2023 SCHOOL YEAR- CLICK HERE FOR DOCUMENT) with temporary address in the local area (The address in our LOCAL area where your children will be living while enrolled prior to moving into your new home)
- A copy of a valid, fully executed, real estate earnest money contract to purchase with closing date or contract to build with date on which construction began (when slab has been poured) and closing date. Receipt of earnest money must be confirmed within contract.
- If building a new home, in addition to contract, we will need a confirmation letter from the builder with the date the slab was poured and the approximate closing date. If the foundation has not been poured, a letter from the builder with the anticipated date of the pour and the approximate closing date is required. You will also be required to submit a letter from the builder confirming the date of the slab/foundation pour after it has occurred. Per Board policy, slab pour must occur before the end of the first semester of enrollment.
- A copy of enrolling parent/guardian's driver's license
Once you have closed on your home please submit the following as soon as possible as the required final proof of residency:
- A copy of the complete (all pages) final/signed Closing Disclosure, Warranty Deed, or HUD Settlement Statement received from your Title Company, including signature pages
- A copy of electric or water deposit receipt; or a copy of your most current electric and water bills

NOTE: All classifications below are valid for one school year only and must be renewed annually during the summer prior to the first day of school to ensure continuous, uninterrupted enrollment of student.
For parent and student residing with another family in Carroll ISD boundaries (Family in Residence).
A bonafide residence is the student's fixed, permanent and principal housing for legal purposes. A student does not establish a bonafide residence by living in the District only a portion of the week, or only on school days, unless this arrangement is specified on a divorce decree or other court order.
All requested documents below must be returned for approval to Carroll ISD Student Services Department at 2400 N. Carroll Ave., Southlake Texas 76092. Documentation can be dropped off or sent through US Mail and can not be accepted via email. Once approved, instructions for online registration will be provided.

For students not living in Carroll ISD Boundaries with Grandparent residing within Carroll ISD Boundaries OR students not living in Carroll ISD Boundaries but Eligible to Attend Carroll ISD under the TEA Grandparent After-School Care Clause (Board Policy FD LOCAL & LEGAL)

Documentation can be dropped off or sent through US Mail and can not be accepted via email. Once approved, instructions for online registration will be provided.

For family residing within the City of Southlake but not in Carroll ISD Boundaries:
CLICK HERE FOR OPEN ENROLLMENT INFORMATION. Transportation is not provided to students who live in the Open Enrollment zone and choose to go to school in Carroll ISD.
