Digital Resources Approval
Digital Resources Review Committee
The Digital Resources Review Committee (with representatives from Curriculum & Instruction, Special Programs, and Instructional Technology Engineering Departments) will evaluate each app, website, and online resource using this rubric from HISD. The review process is consistent with surrounding districts and provides students, parents, and teachers with information regarding the digital resources CISD uses for instruction.
Approval Process
Throughout the year, teachers may request approval of digital resources by submitting a help request in TechHelp. The committee reviews the information shared, whether advertisements are present and COPPA compliance. Only approved apps will be installed on student devices.
**Please submit one resource per help request in order to avoid confusion.
The purpose of the spreadsheets linked below is to list the digital tools that can be utilized by staff and/or students. It is recommended that teachers fully preview any content before using it with students. Be sure to exclude any lessons that include banned concepts of HB 3979 and SB 3.
