The Hardware 

Every secondary student (Grades 5 -12) will be assigned their own device. 

Grades 5 – 6

• Dell 3310 Chromebook
  • Size:  11.5 Inches
  • Style:  Clamshell
  • If parents would like to purchase a cover, there are many on Amazon available. Case must be Clamshell Style for Model Dell 3100 Chromebook.  These are optional but can be  purchased directly by parents for Chromebook protection

Grades 7 – 8

• Dell Latitude 5320 
  • Size: 13 Inches
  • Dell Latitude 5320 13.3” made in 2022 – This is the ONLY available cover will fit the model. 
• Dell Latitude 3310
  • Size 13 inches
  • Cases not available at this time to order

The Software

The laptop will be pre-imaged to contain software which Carroll ISD licenses for use within the district for educational purposes. The software installed includes: Windows 10, Microsoft Office, VLC Media Player, Adobe Reader, Flash Player, Chrome Browser and iTunes.
