Message Regarding the Start of School
The Transportation Dept. is reminding everyone to please be very patient the first couple weeks of school. Due to heavier than normal traffic and the beginning of school procedures, please expect some delays for the first couple weeks. The Transportation Dept. will be making daily adjustments to help improve the timing of routes. Please have your child at their bus stop at least 5-8 minutes prior so we can make sure your child is picked up.

Bus Passes must be purchased in order for your child(ren) to ride the bus. If the pass has been purchased, but your child has not received it yet, they will be able to ride the bus. Your child will need to carry their bus pass at all times in order to ride the bus but there will be a grace period for the first week. We will be answering phones at the department as quickly as possible so we ask for your patience as we work to get back to everyone.

The Transportation Department is dedicated to safely transporting the children of this community and is proud to serve Carroll Independent School District. Please contact us if you have any questions pertaining to ridership.

Our Transportation facility is located behind the Dragon Stadium, at 1075 South Kimball Avenue. The facility is home to our day-to-day operations, our shop facilities and wash bay.

Bus Safety Handbook & Bus Rider Contract
All bus riders MUST have a parent or guardian signed ‘Bus Rider Contract’ turned in with the Bus Rider Registration form, indicating that they have received the Bus Safety Handbook and will agree to abide by the rules. Bus passes will not be issued until a signed contract has been turned in. If you purchase online, you do not need to turn in signed contract. The Bus Safety Handbook and Contract can be found in the link on the left of this page.
