Bus Safety Handbook & Bus Rider Contract
All bus riders MUST have a parent or guardian signed ‘Bus Rider Contract’ turned in with the Bus Rider Registration form, indicating that they have received the Bus Safety Handbook and will agree to abide by the rules. Bus passes will not be issued until a signed contract has been turned in only if paying by check or cash. The Bus Safety Handbook and Contract can be found in the link on the left of this page.
2022-23 Bus Passes On Sale JUNE 6TH
“Early Bird” Discount June 6th through July 31st 2022
Annual Pass: $275 per student or $550 per family
Semester Pass: $148 per student or $296 per family
Pricing Starting Aug. 1st 2022
Annual Pass: $300 per student or $575 per family
Semester Pass: $160 per student or $325 per family
Bus pass sales will be date/time stamped in the event any COVID safety protocols are in place in August.
“Early Bird” discount pricing increase is only back to where pricing was for years prior to Covid (spring 2020). Please take advantage of the “Early Bird” discount. Early registration allows the Transportation Department to more accurately set routes and stops before the start of school. While the stops and routes are always subject to adjustments, the early registrant data will better assist the routing process allowing for fewer adjustments once the initial 2022-23 bus route plan is released on August 1st . In order to ride the bus every student must have a bus pass. No student will be allowed to board any bus without a valid bus pass.
Also, as in past years, the district will continue to issue refunds in the amount of the passes (net of any credit card fees) for those that have had bus passes issued.
Payment by credit card, online or in person, requires a processing fee of $.25 plus 4% of the transaction. You must also use Google chrome if purchasing online. Carroll ISD does not receive any of the credit card fees offered by this convenience. You may also print and complete the Bus Rider Registration Form along with Bus Rider Contract if paying with cash or check by payment in person or by mail to the CISD Administration Center - 2400 North Carroll Ave., Southlake, TX 76092 Attn: Cheryl McCormick.
Upon completion of the transaction, your child's bus pass will be approved, issued and sent to your child's campus for pickup to be determined by each campus before school starts. Once the school year has started, bus passes will be created and sent to your child's campus within five business days. Bus passes are similar to a luggage tag and should be attached to your child’s backpack.
To locate your child's bus number, bus stop, and pick-up time beginning, Aug. 1st , go to southlakecarroll.edu -> departments -> transportation services -> bus routes. Input your address and zip code then hit search.
