The Dragon eBlast is a twice weekly email newsletter published by the Communications & Engagement Department to create greater understanding and support of the Carroll Independent School District. It includes news and topics about Carroll ISD such as academics, arts & entertainment, sports, fundraisers, special events and more. 

The Dragon eBlast currently has over 15,000 subscribers. Our readers include CISD staff, parents, students, local business leaders and residents in the Southlake and surrounding communities. Individuals interested in CISD news from outside the area may also subscribe.

The Dragon eBlast is sent out twice weekly (Tuesdays/Thursdays) year round. eBlasts do not typically run on school holidays or during scheduled breaks.

Each eBlast features a banner ad from a local business. To advertise in the Dragon eBlast, please contact Jaclyn Harwell, Assistant Director of Communications and Marketing.

To submit a news item for staff consideration in the Dragon eBlast, email eBLAST@southlakecarroll.edu with the information you would like communicated. News items must be submitted by the end of the business day prior to the day eBlast goes out. Submitting a news item does not guarantee being featured in the eBlast.
