Carroll ISD Earns Exemplary Rating
Carroll ISD is a K-12 public school system located in the heart of the DFW Metroplex. The 21 square-mile district consists of 11 school serving more than 8,000 students and 1,000 employees. The district is rated Exemplary by the Texas Education Agency. In fact, CISD is one of the largest Exemplary school districts in the state of Texas.

All 11 Campuses Earn Exemplary Ratings
All of the district's 11 campuses have been rated "Exemplary." The state of Texas does not rank public schools, but they do rate them based on performance on standardized tests, attendance, and drop out rates. CISD has a zero percent drop out rate, a 97 percent attendance rate and consistently scores above the state national averages on assessments. The state holds districts to a high standard of 90 percent passing to obtain the Exemplary rating. In addition, each subgroup must receive a 90 percent for a district or campus to earn the top rating. 

Academic, Athletic & Fine Arts Programs Named Champions
Carroll ISD recently earned the 2015 6A Lone Star Cup Championship. This coveted award is presented to the district that earns the most competition points in the areas of academics, athletics and fine arts.
