Bus Safety Handbook & Bus Rider Contract
All bus riders MUST have a parent or guardian signed ‘Bus Rider Contract’ turned in with the Bus Rider Registration form, indicating that they have received the Bus Safety Handbook and will agree to abide by the rules. Bus passes will not be issued until a signed contract has been turned in. The Bus Safety Handbook and Contract can be found in the link on the left of this page.

2018-2019 Bus Passes on Sale May 14

Parents are encouraged to register and purchase bus passes starting May 14 to take advantage of the early payment incentives.

    July 31st and after:

Annual Pass: $275 per student or $550 per family
Semester Pass: $148 per student or $296 per family

Early registration allows the Transportation Department to more accurately set routes and stops before the start of school. While the stops and routes are always subject to adjustments, the early registrant data will better assist the routing process allowing for fewer adjustments once the initial 2018-2019 bus route plan is released on August 15.

Also, as in past years, the district will continue to issue refunds in the amount of the passes (net of any credit card fees) until September 10, 2018.

Payment by credit card, online or in person, requires a processing fee of $0.25 plus 4% of the transaction. Carroll ISD does not receive any of the credit card fees offered by this convenience. You may also print and complete the Bus Rider Registration Form along with the Bus Rider Contract and submit payment in person or by mail to the CISD Administration Center - 2400 North Carroll Ave., Southlake, TX 76092 Attn: Cheryl McCormick.

Upon completion of the transaction, your child's bus pass will be approved, issued and sent to your child's campus for distribution at the beginning of the  school year. Once the school year has started, bus passes will be created and sent to your child's campus within five business days. Bus passes are similar to a luggage tag and should be attached to your child’s backpack.

To locate your child's bus number, stop and pick-up time, go to southlakecarroll.edu, departments, transportation and click on bus routes.

For questions concerning busing or route information, please contact the CISD Transportation Department at 817-949-8333,

    AFTER SCHOOL ACTIVITY PASSES

Again this year, we are offering AFTERSCHOOL ACTIVITY PASSES (at no charge) for students who, after their last class of the day, need to be transported to the other high school for a school sponsored sport or activity.  This pass may be obtained by picking-up an application from the CSHS or CHS office.  Once completed, it must be signed by the coach or sponsor of the activity or sport and returned to the office.  All students must then sign the bus rider contract.  Passes will be available for students to pick-up at the office within three (3) school days.

Students must present their pass to the bus driver each time they need to ride or will not be allowed to ride.

This pass is not necessary if the student has a valid annual or semester bus pass.

Transportation with this pass is on a space available basis.
