Accountability

  • State Accountability
The Texas Education Agency (TEA) has made available to the public the 2022 accountability ratings for districts and campuses through the TEA Accountability website.

Carroll ISD is pleased to announce that our Dragons have once again demonstrated excellence! The district performance returned to, and exceeded, pre-pandemic levels. Carroll ISD’s overall score in 2018-2019 was an A (scaled score 97) and is, once again, an A (scaled score 98) for the 2021-2022 school year. All Carroll ISD campuses have received “A” ratings for the 2021-2022 school year. You may visit TXschools.gov to find your school, details on its rating and profile, and parent resources. During the Carroll ISD Strategic Planning process last year, the 55-member committee developed additional metrics important to this community. This community-driven Strategic Plan sets a new 5-year direction for Carroll ISD. While the STAAR test remains an important measurement, it is just one of many measurable indicators. As our Strategic Plan Dragon Scorecard demonstrates, there is much more involved than one standardized test when it comes to truly measuring high-quality education, excellence, and student success.

We are extremely proud of the dedication and intentional work of our Dragon teachers and staff who prepare each day to serve all students and inspire excellence.
We are also very thankful to our Dragon students who have been committed to learning and giving their best, as well as to our families and their partnership with the district. We are #DragonProud

    Texas Academic Performance Reporting
The Texas Academic Performance Reports (TAPR), formerly known as the Academic Excellence Indicator System (AEIS), pull together a wide range of information annually on the performance of students in each school and district in Texas. The reports, available back to the 2003–04 school year, provide extensive information on staff, programs, and demographics for each school and district.

    Federal Report Cards

The Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA), as amended by the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA), requires each State education agency to prepare and publish an annual report card with state-, district- and campus-level data.
