Thank you for your help in keeping all our little Dragons safe by obeying all traffic laws during arrival and dismissal. As a reminder, the speed limit during school zone hours is 20 miles per hour.
Please refrain from using your cell phone when driving in the school zone, especially in the car line. Children are entering and exiting vehicles, and we need all drivers to be aware of their surroundings.
Thank you for helping keep all little Dragons safe and sound!
Visitors are always welcome during lunch. If you join your child for lunch, we have a special guest table for you and your child to enjoy together. Unfortunately, due to student allergies and related privacy policies, only your child will be able to join you at this table; friends will remain at their assigned lunch tables.
Recess is an important part of children learning how to interact socially and play together. We ask that parents and guests please limit their visits to the lunchroom and not escort their children to recess. Please allow your child this time to interact and play with their peers.
Johnson Elementary has been named to the 2018-2019 Honor Roll by Educational Results Partnership. The Honor Roll recognizes public elementary, middle and high schools that demonstrate high levels of student academic achievement, improvement in achievement over time, and reduction in achievement gaps. For high schools, Honor Roll recognition includes measures of college readiness in students. This year, the Texas Honor Roll recognized 855 higher-performing schools that are distinguished for their academic achievement and closing achievement gaps.
