Carroll ISD Celebrates Summer Facility Upgrades and Gym Renovation Ahead of New School Year

As part of Carroll ISD’s commitment to maintaining safe, modern, and high-quality learning environments, the district completed a series of much-needed facility improvements over the summer leading into the 2025–26 school year. Thanks to funding specifically allocated for infrastructure upgrades—and the Board of Trustees’ focus on being strong stewards of taxpayer dollars—projects across multiple campuses included new roofing, HVAC systems, water heaters, stairwells, and district-wide lighting enhancements.

Among these critical upgrades was the renovation of the Carroll Senior High School main competition gym, the district’s primary venue for Dragon Basketball, Volleyball, Cheer, and the Emerald Belles.

To mark the completion of these improvements, Carroll ISD hosted a special unveiling event on August 6 at the newly upgraded gym. The celebration welcomed not only our Board members, district leaders, student-athletes and staff, but also members of the Southlake City Council and community sponsors.

“These upgrades are not only about aesthetics—they reflect our commitment to providing the best possible environment for our Dragons to train, compete, learn and succeed,” said Board President Cam Bryan.

Carroll ISD extends sincere thanks to our Board of Trustees and our community partners for their continued support as the district works to take care of the buildings that serve students and staff every day.

“Seeing our students walk into this space and light up with excitement reminded us exactly why these investments matter,” said Board Vice President Andrew Yeager. “We’re building more than facilities—we’re building pride, spirit, and a lasting sense of community.”
