Dragons Partner with Patrick Mahomes and Adidas for Exclusive “Gladiator” Uniforms

Dragon Varsity Football brought the energy to Homecoming with black jerseys and the brand of a Super Bowl Champion.

Southlake Carroll is one of only three high schools in Texas and fifteen nationwide selected by Patrick Mahomes and Adidas to debut the new “Gladiator” logo. Each program chosen represents elite athletic performance and a championship tradition — characteristics that align perfectly with Dragon Nation.

“We’re honored to be in the company of other top-tier teams and we appreciate the partnership with the Mahomes brand,” said Athletic Director and Head Coach Riley Dodge. “This recognition reflects the commitment and hard work of our athletes and community.”

Mahomes, a three-time Superbowl Champion who hails from Whitehouse, Texas, chose the Carroll Dragons, Longview Lobos and his alma mater for the high school collaboration. “High school football is key to not just developing players but teaching them about the effort and drive needed to succeed in this sport,” said Mahomes.

With eight state championships and eleven title appearances, the Dragons have one of the most impressive records among the powerhouse high school programs. Schools in California, Florida, Missouri, Michigan, Oklahoma and Georgia are also participating.

At the collegiate level, Texas Tech debuted special uniforms featuring the Gladiator logo last year against Colorado.

Mahomes says the partnership is about inspiring the next generation. “That mindset of giving everything you’ve got and never backing down is something I’ve carried through every stage of my career,” Mahomes said.

The Dragons’ iconic green and black now incorporate the bold new “Gladiator” patch, representing what Mahomes calls “a mindset of resilience and relentless effort.” The emblem is a fusion of the letters P and M, which is proudly featured on a range of Dragon football merchandise, now available for online purchase.
